PS1150 Passive H.110 Rear Bridge
The PS1150 is a passive H.110 bridge that enables you to extend the H.110 bus on the PS4400 and PS4400B series of modular backplanes. Like all modular series bridges, the PS1150 is a rear bridge that doesn’t occupy any valuable front slots. Multiple PS1150 bridges may be used to create systems of any slot count up to a maximum of 21, as specified by the H.110 standard. The H.110 bridge when installed on a backplane disables the H.110 bus termination on that backplane thus leaving one termination at each end of the bus. The telephony bus often requires transition module compatible with the IEEE 1101.11 the PS1150 is compatible with these transition modules.
The PS1150 H.110 bridge module is used to extend the H.110 bus beyond the 8 slots available on any one backplane. Multiple PS1150 bridges may be used to create systems of any slot count up to a maximum of 21, as specified by the H.110 standard.
