Technical Details
The PS1222 is a 3U, 16HP wide backplane designed to accept up to two CompactPCI hot-insertable power supply modules, and supply DC power to other CompactPCI backplanes. Power is supplied to the backplane through AC or DC power input taps.
Two, ATX-style, 18 gauge wiring harness assemblies provide an interconnection between the power backplane and other CompactPCI backplanes. These wiring harnesses provide +5V, +3.3 , +12 , -12 , GND and control signals between the two backplanes. These wiring harnesses, the PS1600, can be ordered separately.
The PS1222 uses the new P47 power supply connector, as specified in the PICMG 2.11 R1.0 Power Interface specification
